Maureen Simpson, MS |
| Maureen Simpson, MS, has been a Registered Nurse since 1986. She has received a Masters degree in Wholistic Nursing from the College of New Rochelle in Holistic Nursing. Maureen believes that in order to attain and maintain wellness we need to know ourselves in all our capacities. The intertwining of our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional aspects is what makes up our whole being. In the hospital setting, Maureen has specialized in post- anesthesia care since 1992 at the Einstein division of Montefiore Medical Center. Maureen desires to assist people to participate in their health both within and outside the hospital setting. She is a Reiki practitioner and teacher at the Master level. She is also a Therapeutic Touch practitioner, and a certified facilitator and teacher of Bio-spiritual focusing. She enjoys group work as well as one-on-one guidance. She joined the Hands-On Health clinical staff in January 2003. |
