Audrey Shapiro BA,LMT

Audrey Shapiro is a New York State licensed massage therapist (LMT), certified Amma therapist (CAT) and Registered Bach Flower Practitioner (RBFP). As an Amma therapist, Audrey is trained in Chinese medicine, nutritional counseling and wholistic practices. Audrey has also received the prestigious distinction of being one of just 100 practitioners in the United States and just under 1400 worldwide that have earned the title of Registered Bach Flower Practitioner. With the combined skills of Amma therapy and the Bach Flower Essences, Audrey brings a unique and dynamic style to her work as a massage therapist. Her specialty is addressing the mind/body complex to help achieve harmony in her patients.

Audrey is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta and is a certified practitioner of the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). Audrey was a faculty member at her alma mater, the New York College for Health Professions, teaching both the theory and practice of Amma therapy. Audrey also offers lectures on stress management, massage and Bach Flower Essences. Since 1995, she has been a staff member of the Hands-on Health Wholistic Healthcare Center in Kew Gardens, NY. Her life passion is to assist people in making positive changes in their lives.
