Fire Cupping In Clinical Practice |
|
Course Description Fire cupping is a form of therapy in which the practitioner uses flame to create suction in a glass cup which is then applied to the body. It has been part of Oriental medical practice for thousands of years, often as an adjunct to Acupuncture and Bodywork Therapy. Cupping is effective in helping therapists treat a wide range of conditions--including pain, spasm, and respiratory problems. This workshop gives Bodywork Therapists the theory and technique they need to immediately integrate fire cupping into their clinical practice. Participants will be able to purchase a complete fire cupping kit designed for Bodywork Therapy practice. It contains all the materials you need for the workshop, and enough to get you started in your clinic. Course Outline 1. Overview & History Time: Four hours
